Compensation
Johms Manville is committed to providing competitive compensation in the form of salary, bonus, and other financial rewards. It is the company's goal to provide compensation that is fair and appropriate for your responsibilities and experience, compares favorably across market and peer group, and is linked to personal and company performance.
Overview of JM’s Compensation Objectives
The basic pay objectives are the same for all employees. The objectives are to:
- Maintain compensation levels that permit JM to attract and retain highly qualified people.
- Align compensation with the performance of the company, as well as individual performance.
- Motivate employees to fully utilize their skills, training and experience in order to perform their work effectively.
- Ensure employees understand compensation matters that affect them.
Your base pay, together with your bonus, make up your total cash compensation. Your potential bonus depends on the quality of your individual performance on the job (as well as the company's overall financial performance). Bonuses may include variable incentive pay (VIP) for our salaried workforce, hourly incentive programs for our hourly workforce, and sales incentive programs for our sales force. More information on VIP can be found below. For further information on hourly and sales incentive plans, which can vary by business unit and location, please contact your local HR&C representative.
Company, team and individual performance contributes to your compensation. Compensation and other types of rewards, such as benefits, recognition, work environment and career opportunities, are the core components of JM Total Rewards.
